AI agents, chat and automation
How do we connect our CRM or other systems to 3CTel?
There are three ways. API and webhooks, where call, message and AI events are sent to your system and the AI reads or writes records through your system's API. An automation platform, where a workflow tool you already use connects the two. Or a custom connector built for software without a usable API. A 3CTel specialist scopes the connection during planning and confirms availability before activation; nothing is billed until then.
Three connection methods
- API and webhooks. 3CTel sends events such as call ended, message received, meeting booked or AI task proposed to an endpoint you control, and the AI performs tasks through your system's API. Best when your system has a documented API and you have someone who can work with it, or when 3CTel builds the mapping for you.
- Automation platform. A workflow tool your team already uses receives 3CTel events and applies them to your system. Best for quick set-ups and for systems that already have a connector in that platform.
- Custom connector. For software without a usable API, or with unusual requirements, 3CTel scopes a connector as part of a custom deployment. Best for practice-management, broker-management and industry-specific systems.
Systems customers commonly connect
CRMs such as HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel and Zoho. Productivity suites such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace for calendars, contacts and email. Helpdesk tools for tickets. Practice-management software in clinics and professional firms. Broker-management systems in insurance and mortgage brokerages. These are examples of software our customers use; what can be connected depends on what each system exposes and is confirmed for your account before activation.
3CTel describes connections by how they are delivered, not as partnerships with the software makers.
What is scoped in planning
The specialist works through which events should flow, in which direction, and what the AI may read and write. Together you decide field mappings, matching rules for contacts, which tasks run automatically and which need approval, and who owns credentials. You test the connection on a temporary number with a small set of records before it goes live, and the mapping can be changed later as your process changes.

Do we need a developer?
Not usually. Automation-platform connections and most API mappings are configured by 3CTel with you. A developer helps if you want to build on the API yourself or if your system needs custom work on your side.
Can data flow both ways?
Yes, where your system allows it. Events from 3CTel can be written to your system, and the AI can look up records, for example to greet a returning caller by name or check an order status, within the permissions you give it.
What if our system has no API?
The specialist will look at export files, email parsing or a custom connector. If none of those is workable, the AI can still produce tasks and summaries for a person to enter manually.
Is a connection included in the plan price?
Standard event delivery and automation-platform set-ups are quoted with your plan. Custom connectors are quoted separately after scoping. In both cases nothing is billed before activation.
